THE MISERABLE MILL: (synopsis 8).
Violet (the thinker), Klaus (the reader), and Sunny (the biter), move to Paltryville and hope that Count Olaf will not follow them. They move to the lumbermill and work all the day, and they eat almost nothing. One day Klaus trips and breaks his glasses and he is taken to an eye doctoe called Orwell. Violet and Sunny would like to come, but they are told to remain at the lumbermill. When Klaus returns he acts in a strange way and only says “yes sir”. When Klaus is working at the lumbermill, he accidently hurts an employee, without even noticing it. Another person (the counselor) makes Klaus trip, and he breaks his glasses again. Klaus is send to Orwell, and this time Violet and Sunny can come with him. Sunny and Violet are sent to the waiting room and they find Olaf sitting at the receptionist's desk in his new disguise. Violet and Sunny immediatly notice him. Once again, Klaus leaves the waiting room and acts strangely again. Then the orphans come back to the waiting room to check if Count Olaf is still there. They tell Mr. Poe about Count Olaf, until he believes them. When they catch him, he escapes again before being arrested.
